Brave Leadership. Honest Service.

I’m Sarah Compton — a proud Key West local, small business owner, and neighbor who believes that the people of this island are its greatest strength. I’m running for City Commission because I love this community, and I believe in its future.

I have always been in love with the way people here look out for one another. Whether it’s a storm, a fundraiser, or a sunset — we show up. That’s the spirit I carry into everything I do.

As a business owner, I’ve seen firsthand what happens when leadership listens. When City Hall is transparent, responsive, and fair, our island thrives. I know how to bring people together — residents, workers, and local businesses — to find real solutions that protect our culture and strengthen our economy.

To me, public service is about rolling up your sleeves and doing the work. It’s about integrity — not influence. It’s about the courage to stand up for what’s right and the humility to listen when others disagree.

I’m not here to be a politician. I’m here to be a protector — of our neighborhoods, our values, and our One Human Family. Together, we can keep Key West a place where honesty matters, where kindness counts, and where our future is built on community, not corruption.

For Key West. For One Human Family.

Our “One Human Family” values guide how we govern and how we live.
